Double Exposure Triptych
CLO: Students will be able to create a triptych using visual imagery to communicate something about their past, present or future. Students will be able to critique, receive written feedback and implement changes and also be able to write a reflection on their process.
Requirements:
- Must use photo clipping techniques along with text, image adjustments and opacity changes.
- Must be monochromatic with at least 1 accent color
- Must balance organic and geometric shapes
- Must communicate clearly something from your past, present or future
- Must complete a written artist statement reflecting on your process and concept.

New Vocabulary:
Monochromatic: Singular color scheme (ie. Black and white, blue scale, etc.)
Opacity: The saturation of a layer. Using a lighter (20%) opacity increases transparency, where as a heavy (90%) opacity decreases transparency.
Masking: Using the magic wand to highlight an image or text, and then copying that shape from a different layer.
Organic Shapes: Shapes found in Nature, unique edges, non-conforming
Geometric Shapes: Identifiable shapes from mathematical processes: Square, Circle, etc...
