About Mrs. StringerMrs. Stringer is originally from Edina, Minnesota, and a graduate of Edina High School. She attended the University of Denver where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Electronic Media Arts Design. After college, Mrs. Stringer free lanced as a graphic designer and took a job in Business Management. She returned to school to obtain her teaching credentials at Metro State College of Denver, and became certified to teach K-12 Art. Mrs. Stringer taught at Rangeview High School for 8 years, mainly teaching 3D design including Ceramics, Jewelry and 3D Advanced Placement Courses. In 2013 she made the move to Denver Public Schools, and accepted the challenge of building a CTE Digital Media program at South High School focusing on Graphic Design and 3D Animation, with the added challenge of advising South's Yearbook Staff. She recently earned a Master of Arts in Fine Arts degree at Regis University.
Mrs. Stringer lives in the neighborhood with her husband, Mr. Stringer (of Merrill Middle School Fame), and their adorable kids, Sully and Lucy, both Asbury Eagles. They have 2 dogs and 6 chickens. |
