DESIGN CYCLE:

- Research:
Intro to Identity Design
What makes good design? What is identity? What do all of these images have in common?
By the end of the day, you should have an understanding of what graphic design is, how it fits into both the worlds of art and business.
Class discussion: Identify a group of logos as a class. Discuss what makes them strong. Are they simple? Are they bold? Would they work well in all colors and sizes? Is it appropriate for the business?
3. Idea Generation: Create a logo brainstorm with at least 40 images. Sketch quickly and somewhat "brainlessly". Think about what you stand for. Think about colors you like. Think about your interests. Think about what you want to be when you grow up. Think about what you are today. Think about your passions.
Focus on using simplified shapes, lines and patterns and the elements that visually attracted you on Friday.
Take a photo of your brainstorm with your tablet and upload it to Schoology: 40 Logo Brainstorm
