CLO: Students will be able to create a "flip book" animation to demonstrate their understanding of Stop-Motion Animation. Students will also be able to define Stop-Motion Animation in their own words while reflecting on their process.
Folioscopes, also known as flip books, have been around since the 1800's. Today, we are going to make a 22 frame flip book that demonstrates the Design Principle of Movement. Things to focus on include: Simplicity, Consistency, craftsmanship and Timing. As you begin to sketch, use the windows or bright computer background as a light source to help you with the consistency and proper movement and timing.
